CHINESE COIN and String is the closest thing to real magic - So good, it fools magicians! Picture this:
The performer displays a heavy brass engraved CHINESE COIN. A length of cord is threaded through the coin and, after pulling on it to prove that the coin is indeed on the cord, the coin miraculously melts off.
The performer states, "This time, I'll knot the string first." The string is then tied in a knot and the coin is placed on top. Quick as wink, the coin penetrates the string but this time, it's threaded on. Hey now! Now for the master moves that seperate this routine from anything you've ever seen before:
With no perceptible movement of the hand whatsoever, the coin is completely removed, replaced, and removed again from the string! This is a multi-phase routine with each phase increasing in magical effect. An open fronted bag is shown to contain a CHINESE COIN. The coin is removed from the bag and vanishes from your hand whereupon it appears under the bag which has been lying on the table.
Again the coin is placed into your other hand and vanishes. However this time when the bag is turned over it is not under the bag but inside it! Again the coin is removed and vanished and this time visibly appears inside the bag. Finally the coin grows in size as it leaves the bag!
