The Tigers and Vipers all have this type of behavior. Our discussions with USPCC
(the company who prints all Bicycle cards, including ours) have shown that the
Tiger/Viper card stock had to be white and the ink (black) would be added on
later.
This meant that after some usage, some of the ink does come off. Some people
have even reported that it came off on their hands a bit, but since it's dry,
the ink literally wipes off instantly. The solution is actually easier than you
might think - all you need is a black, permanent marker.
With this marker, individually re-mark the sides as they wear out and you should
be fine. The main considerations for this process are:
1) Don't fix more than one card at a time
2) Let the cards dry individually - don't let them dry in a pack or sitting on
each other
3) Let the cards dry for at least 36 hours

solution that you can use.
